Welcome to NRK arts, a site dedicated to promoting acoustic music. . .
There is a rich seam of acoustic music running through North Staffs. If you make an effort, it is possible to find a singaround or session just about every night of the week. This site is intended to make that effort a little bit easier.

You will also find a downloadable (pdf) version of the North Staffs Folk Diary. Listed are regular folk and other acoustic events. Late changes and amendments can be found on the Changes page. The diary is collated and published in paper form by Lorna and Wally Davies. Contact details for Lorna and Wally appear in the diary.

My apologies for the late appearance of the June Diary. My web host changed the control panel URL for the site, but, unfortunately, neglected to tell me. In consequence I have been unable to update the site for a while. I now have the new URL (found by trial and error).
