*************************** ************************* From Geoff Smith to say all his normal dates are going strong although he forgot to advise Lorna in time for the diary. Blacksmiths, Alton every Friday, Royal Exchange Stone every Tuesday, White Star Stoke every Wednesday From Martin D'Arcy Martin Waters and myself have started an Irish Music session at The Greyhound, George Street, Newcastle. It is held on the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Martin Waters is on 01782 623633; I am on 01782 622947 Martin D'Arcy From Andy Worth I have been thinking of discontinuing the Rugby club singarounds, at least for a while, owing to the low numbers attending. In any case April is out because of Good Friday, and May because of the clash with the Upton Festival which takes away some of the potential Rugby Club attenders. In view of this I have decided not to have the Rugby Club meeting in March, so shall review things for, say, September or October. From Neil Collingwood, Chuck Micallef from Newcastle is trying to set up a Music Roots thing (I don't know what else to call it) at The Full Moon in Newcastle and it includes a lot of country music which he adores). From Pete and Malc There will be a singaround at the White Star, Stoke from Tuesday 24th November and on the last Tuesday thereafter. It would be a great to see you there, and it would help if you could pass this information on to all who you think might be interested.
