NEW VENUE -
Impromptu Singaround
Tuesday 22nd November
The Roebuck, Derby Street, Leek.ST13 5AB

Titanic Brewery have recently acquired, refurbished and
re-opened The Roebuck. As it happens that there are five
Tuesdays in November so it seems a shame to waste the
opportunity to have a sing in the great atmosphere of the
newly created snug.

From Steven Fearne

Hello! We have recently started up an increasingly popular
"Unplugged acoustic" night.

It is on the last Wednesday of each month at the Old Queen's
Head, Talke ST7 1PS from 20:30. We have the use of a nice
room that lends itself to the "sit round and play" format.
If it gains in popularity we have the landlady's approval to
extend to another night each month.

Contact details are me, Steve, on 07970960427 and
Craig 07525816708. All players, poets and supporters are
welcome, irrespective of musical preference, just so long as
it is unplugged. And the real, hand pulled ale is cheap too!

Hi
another venue, the owner of which would welcome folk music:

Frank Brown, phone 01283 813677
The Cross Keys, Burton Street, Tutbury, DE13 9NR

Frank is a nice bloke who has owned the pub for the last
19 years -. the pub has traditional bars and larger dining
room at rear.

Best nights for folk events - Tuesday or Sunday.
It would also be a nice venue for the occasional
Sunday lunch event.

Cheers
Malc
